Mapleton SD update 12/30
Thank you all for sharing updates to our community! Lots of great cross-agency coordination and action today! Following is plan for next week.
Preschool: We are canceling Preschool for the week. We arw deciding now and want to make sure families have time to coordinate childcare. Portapotties and handwashing stations add a layer of challenge that we are not yet ready to support for this age group. We will use the week for planning, communication, and preparation for an amazing week back beginning Jan 9th.
K-12: School is canceled for students on Tuesday January 3rd. We will use the day for staff to finalize some procedures for school with limited water AND have services for the local community (more information coming- hopefully 🤞🏼🤞🏼 to include water filling station and maybe showers!).
School will be in session normal hours on Wed Jan 4 – Fri Jan 6th.
We will communicate more details about next week, resources at the school and about our operational plans as they come available and at noon on Monday Jan 1st.
