Mapleton Elementary School has approximately 70 Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students.  We have one Full-day Kindergarten classroom, a First/Second Grade blended classroom, a Third/Fourth Grade blended classroom and a Fifth Grade classroom.  With our small enrollment comes the added benefit of having lower class sizes in each classroom.

Mapleton Elementary School offers several opportunities for parents to become involved in their child’s school and classroom.  We have several parent and family activity nights planned throughout the school year. Also, if you are interested in volunteering in your child’s classroom, chaperoning school field trips, or just coming to eat lunch or breakfast with your child, please let your child’s teacher know.  We welcome parents in our school and classrooms.  Please note that in order to volunteer in a classroom or chaperone a field trip, you must have passed a current background check (forms can be obtained in the school office).  A background check is free of charge and is good for two years.

Mapleton School District currently operates on a four-day school week.  Most weeks, students attend school on Monday through Thursday.  Please see the Academic Calendar for specific school days and holidays.
